Making Art
Come follow your imagination in creating a variety of unique two and three-dimensional art forms. Students will explore and work with many difference tools and materials including but not limited to: clay, found objects, drawing materials and paint. Susan Macumber is the instructor for this exciting and fun workshop for all ages (1st grade and older) and levels of ability the week of July 21 -25 from 1:00 – 3:00pm. Cost for the class is $15.00.

Fun with Amana Folk Art
Enjoy lots of fun activities and projects while learning about arts, crafts and the heritage of the Amana Colonies. Become a tinsmith, a weaver, or a basket maker while exploring rich Amana customs. Gordon and DeAnna Kellenberger are the instructors of this class for students ages 3rd and older. The class will be held the week of August 4-8 from 9:00 – 10:30am. Cost for this class is $15.00.

Art Iowa Workshops
Art Iowaworkshops sponsored each year by the Amana Arts Guild in cooperation with Morningside College, Drake University, and Grant Wood AEA may be taken for college credit.
The workshops are one week sessions held at the Amana Arts Guild Complex in historic High Amana.
Subjects offered in the past have included: watercolors, silkscreen printing, painting, pastels, and ceramics.

Arts Iowa Weekend
The annual Arts Iowa Weekend, held in October, March, and April, covers a range of subjects and may also be taken for credit or personal enrichment.
